Disaggregate was founded in 2002 by Moshe Yudkowsky, Ph.D.

Dr. Yudkowsky began his work in speech technologies at AT&T Bell Laboratories, where he led a team to design and develop AT&T's automated operator. He left Bell Laboratories in 1996 to join Dialogic, a premier manufacturer of equipment for the telecommunications industry. At Dialogic, in his role as Senior System Architect for Speech, Dr. Yudkowsky worked with speech technology providers from all across the world.

In parallel — at both Bell Labs and at Dialogic — Dr. Yudkowsky was Chair of the Automatic Speech Recognition Task Group of the Enterprise Computer Telephony Forum, an industry standards organization. At present, Dr. Yudkowsky is affiliated with both the Midwest Speech Technology Association and AVIOS. Dr. Yudkowsky is an oenophile; he has selected wines for a local wine club, and he writes wine reviews for kosher wines.

Dr. Yudkowsky's resume is available in web page and PDF formats; a curriculum vitae is also available.
